Form is a self-indulgent study of colour and geometry by Richard Marsden.
Richard Marsden completed his BA Degree in Graphic Arts and Design at Leeds Beckett University in 2016. He went on to become a founding cooperative member of Leeds Print Workshop. He currently lives and works in Glasgow and has recently completed his MLitt in Fine Art Practice (Print Media) at The Glasgow School of Art.
Richard’s screen prints are the result of many developmental drawings exploring the relationships between reoccurring forms, which stem from an interest in architecture and construction. Screen printing allows him to experiment with overlapping colours and more subtle layers of gloss, with this comes an appreciation of the materiality of the paper and a consciousness of the space around and within the compositions.
Exhibition Opening Times: 29th March – 14th April Friday-Sunday 10:30am-4:30pm
