Leeds Print Workshop member Kay Taylor has been developing her printmaking practice since joining as a member in 2021.
The inspiration for her recent work has come from her garden, cut flowers and house plants displayed in miniature vases or bottles.
She enjoys exploring linocut techniques which have given her the confidence to venture into the use of colour and simplifying form.
More recently she has been looking at the overall shape of the composition and breaking away from enclosing the subject within the constraints of four straight lines.
She has recently exhibited several works on display at The Horsforth Art Society Autumn show.
Her work can currently be viewed on display at The Tavern pub in Horsforth for October and November.
